April has arrived . . .

”April Showers” . . . Oh how we pray for April showers!

Our land is so dry . . . Our wild animals so long for fresh clean pools of water . . . Birds seek the refuge of fresh foliage; butterflies will soon appear looking for spring flowers to give birth-- nectar, for summer blooms.

Our Father’s creation of earth is about to spring forth in all its glory as the Panhandle fulfills God’s command: “Let the earth produce plants, some to make grain for seeds and others to make fruits with seeds in them. Every seed will produce more of its own kind.”

  How awesome is that!

The next three words of Genesis 1:11, “and it Happened.”

How could we not be excited about Spring? We are about to witness the “happening” of God’s command on that Creation day.

God said of that day, “this is good.”

April is a great month to call to mind, “This is the day the Lord hath made, I will be glad and rejoice in it.” Psalm 118:24

Every seed will produce more of its own kind.

As we hang onto the balance of Winter/Spring . . . Cold, possibly snow one day; warm, dry, hot the next -- One thing remains constant: the wind most likely will blow across the Panhandle Plains.

Yet, God proclaims His glory no matter which way the wind blows.
