Battles are always difficult. . .
regardless of the enemy. To have someone
right behind you to “cover your back” is

that overcomes the world. Belief in our

Exodus 14:13-14 (NLT): “Don’t be afraid. Just
still… The LORD Himself will fight for you.
Just stay calm.”
The devil may try to invade our turf;
we may have battles on multiple fronts, live
in turbulent times, but we can choose to fix
our minds on Jesus, claim His perfect peace
and persevere. Trusting the Lord is Satan’s
greatest enemy. We carry on and rely on God
to fight for us.
We can live with calmness and
confidence because of the promises of Isaiah
26:3: “You will keep him in perfect
peace WHOSE mind is stayed on you
because He trusts in you.” (Emphasis added.)
As we await the Lord’s return, our
hearts and minds should be calm, for Jesus
said, “These things I have spoken to you,
that in ME you may have peace.” John 16:33.
