Easy Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

12 oz pasta (bowties or fettuccine)
3-4 chicken breasts
¾ stick of butter
1 c. heavy cream (or half and half if cutting calories)
¾ c. grated parmesan (sprinkle parmesan in a can)
Salt and pepper

Dice the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook it on medium heat and cooked through. Set aside. Cook pasta and drain, set aside. Melt butter in small sauce pan-remove from heat and add heavy cream and grated parmesan. DO NOT COOK. Pour alfredo sauce and chicken over noodles, stir to mix.

Serve immediately. You can also add steamed broccoli florets or fresh, diced cherry tomatoes.

Super-Duper Crockpot Apple Butter

Spicy and sweet, this easy recipe makes a yummy spread!
Yield 6 servings

Ingredients
Apple slices
1/2 -1 C. water
2 C. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Core and slice apples to fill crock pot.  Add water, depending on water content of apples used. I generally use 1/2 cup.  Cook on low overnight.  Next day in a blender or food processor, blend a small amount of the apples at a time until smooth and all are blended.  Put back in crock pot. Add sugar, cinnamon, cloves. Adjust sugar and spices to taste. Cook on high until thick.
