SUMMER SEWING CAMPS

We are quickly approaching summer, and the arrival of summer brings with it our annual sewing camps! Each year these classes are hosted by the talented women of Dorcas House. They put much time and effort into planning the events, teaching the basics of sewing, and working closely with all who register for the classes.

As you are aware, the construction at Central is ongoing, and we have learned to be flexible during all the transitions here on our campus. The future location of Dorcas House is not yet ready to house this sewing ministry. But that won’t stop us! For this year, our location will be in a temporary place within Central’s main building. There will be access by both stairs and elevators to accommodate everyone. We will have specifics on the location as we get closer to the camps.

As always, we’re offering two sewing camps. Mark your calendars for the following dates:

June 10-14
July 8-12

Girls ages 10 and up are welcome to attend, but be sure to register soon. Because of our temporary location, space is limited to 10 girls.

We are excited to be hosting these camps again this summer! Contact Nan Blount at (432) 466-1557 to register for camp or if you have any further questions.
